Below is a brief rundown of the some key tournaments and leagues which will be run and entered this year by NL Touch.  Please note there will be other tournaments and events, but these are the key ones that are confirmed.

Please also note for those interested in playing/participating that there will be a contact person defined for each of these events soon, so stay tuned if you want to register for any.

Volunteers Needed for NTRB and Amsterdam Club

• * First up we would love to hear from anyone in the touch community who is interested in being involved in helping to coordinate and run the Amsterdam club or NTRB.  Drop us a line at: mike@touchrugby.nl

Rotterdam Touch Tournament

• * April 14 @ Rotterdam Rugby Club
• * Teams are to be organised for this tournament from the Amsterdam and Den Haag touch clubs.  Players of all levels of experience are welcome

Amsterdam Leagues

• * Spring touch league
  • - Wednesday nights – April 25 – June 20 @ AFC
  • - There will again be room for 8 teams in this league so we will be looking for entries soon.
• * Autumn touch league
  • - day, time and location TBD

Den Haag Leagues

• * Spring touch league
  • - Wednesday nights – 2 May – 20 June @ HRC
• * Autumn touch league
  • - Wednesday nights – 22 Aug – 17 Oct @ HRC

GIF Paris Tournament

• * May 26 @ Massey, Paris
• * 1 mixed team entered from Amsterdam, 1 from Den Haag
• * This tournament is the highest quality tournament outside of the European championships this year and is a great event

North Sea Touch Series

• * April 21 @ Den Haag
• * June 23 @ Brussels
• * July 15 @ Luxembourg
• * Amsterdam and Den Haag club teams will compete in this mixed competition which is being run for the first time this year.  Teams from the two Belgium clubs plus Luxembourg will compete in each round with a trophy being up for grabs at the end of the year.
• * If interest is high the possibility exists to enter more than one team from each club.

National Touch Championships

• * 5 or 12 August
• * This will be the second edition of this event which will be held in Amsterdam before the rugby season commences.

Den Haag Touch Tournament

• * 27 October @ HRC
• * This will be the second edition of this successful event

2012 European Touch Championships

• * September 12-16 @ Treviso, Italy
• * This is the pinnacle of the year of Touch, and involves national teams from all around Europe.  The NTRB will finalise shortly which divisions we will enter and then there will be a player selection process against these selection criteria.
  
• * Please note that the number of teams we send is directly linked to the number of referees we are able to provide to the tournament.

Touch Training Sessions

• * As usual we will run introductory and advanced skills sessions throughout the year for those wishing to get into touch
• * We can also run sessions at rugby clubs and schools upon request
